Today I want to share with you some of my photos from my trip to Vienna. Honestly I have tried to cut down the photos but there are just so many I want to share with you all. Luckily though I did manage to not include them all! I had the most amazing time sightseeing and exploring the city. We went to so many palaces, parliament, cathedrals, museums and even visited the film festival too. Vienna really was so beautiful and the buildings are honestly so stunning and massive. Most of the time you couldn’t even get the whole building in the photo! The city centre was stunning and of course we had to stop to do some shopping. We visited lots of local cafes and restaurants and some of the best cake and ice cream ever. It tasted SOOOOOO GOOD!! We actually stayed in a small apartment on the…

Costa Rica: Resort Life

SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE! See the beautifully done story and photography!World Travel!

LotsaSmiles Photography

We had always wanted to do an all-inclusive deal in some tropical paradise.  That way, we wouldn’t need to worry about our “room and board” beyond a single daily price – just our activities.  It worked out very well in Costa Rica, where our hotel came with unlimited fruity drinks, amazing buffets, and nightly shows.

But I didn’t expect it to also come with so many photographic opportunities.

Between the beach and the birds, the trees and the pools, there was so much to take in!  Of course, they would want a well-cultivated landscape to delight their patrons, but in a place like Costa Rica, little effort was required.

We were on a beach that was somewhat scungy with dark sand and murky water, but even that proved beautiful.

I had a few favorite spots at the resort.

People always ask how travel has changed me. If I look back at who I was before I began traveling and compare that to who I am now, I would have to say that travel has made me a better and more well-rounded person. I’m way cooler now than I was at 25.

Spirit Lights The Way

After sampling Doug’s brews on Friday and Saturday, we went on a Tasting Tour of the New Belgium Brewery on Sunday . . .

New Belgium is home to Fat Tire beer.

The brewery is decked out with bicycles.

And some great revolving wall art.

The process is the same, but with much bigger equipment!

Did I mention that it was a Tasting Tour?

We enjoyed ample samples.

Here’s the group looking a bit sleepy before the tasting started . . .

Once the tasting began, interest picked up and we perked up . . .

Still farther along on the tour . . .

For the finale, we got to slide down a fireman’s pole transformed into a chute!

I also loved this montage . . .

And this beer can chandelier . . .

As we left, I spotted this sign of the times . . .

Aah…

I’m always looking for healthy snack ideas for my kids and for different ways I can sneak in veggies that they won’t oppose.  I found this recipe from Pinterest and absolutely love it!  It’s from the girls at Super Healthy Kids and they have some great recipes for picky eaters.  The recipe and all the photos are theirs and not mine but it was too good not to share!!

I don’t know about you but my kids can be picky especially my toddler.  If he even spots a veggie these days he immediately puts up his hand and says ‘gross’.  Like how did he even learn that??!  While I love his funny little personality his picky eating habits drive me crazy.   I’m always worrying that he is not getting enough nutrients and eating enough nourishing food when he needs it the most.  That’s where I have…

Beautiful Photos and Some History..

Day 7, August 11, 2016 As I am sure you all know, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and changed the course of World War II for the United States. Shortly after, President Franklin D. Roosevelt issued Executive Order 9066, which authorized military commanders to create zones from which “any or all […]
